Personal Style was originally formed in 1992 after I had trained with the international industry leader Colour Me Beautiful. Subsequently I have taken further training with The Australian Image Company and the Institute of Image Consulting (UK) from where I gained my Diploma of Image Consulting (with Distinction). I also have a Diploma in the design and construction of clothes. Personal Style has helped countless women and men with their personal and professional image, enabling them to have a confident image appropriate to their personalities, lifestyle and chosen career. Clients are of all ages and from all backgrounds, some just needing a gentle nudge onto the right path and others who wanted a complete makeover. The reasons people come to Personal Style include • wanting to know their best colours and how to wear them • going through a life crisis • needing a boost in confidence and/or self esteem • wanting to know the most flattering styles for them • needing help with shopping for their wardrobe • changing jobs/careers and needing to know how to portray the right image • to obtain a gift voucher for a friend or family member. I have worked in various fields within the image industry, including design, manufacture, direct marketing, makeup and total image and was instrumental in starting the New Zealand Federation of Image Professionals of which I am a Past President and Life Member. I provide insight for each of my client’s unique self-perception through workshops, seminars, and personal consultations. I have a belief and a passion that clothing does make a difference to the way you feel about yourself and how others respond to that – thereby having a powerful influence on both your career and your personal relationships. But most of all I have a passion for helping people to realise ALL of their potential in all aspects of their lives. It is for this reason that I can also offer a service helping with CVs and interview skills through my sister company Fromont & Associates Ltd. I have an extensive background in all aspects of business administration including recruitment and so, with my team, can offer further assistance at this level of your overall image.
